The short version

This site exists so you can ask Sean Poolman, a real estate agent with Park Regency (CA DRE #02083956), about selling or buying a home in Encino. The information you send is used to get back to you. It is not sold. The site counts visits with a privacy-friendly analytics tool that uses no cookies and does not collect your name, phone, email, or address.

What the request form collects

When you ask for your home value, the form asks for:

  • the property address;
  • when you are thinking of selling;
  • your name and mobile number;
  • your email address, only if you choose to add it.

If you use the buyer form on the Buy a home in Encino page, it asks for your price range, when you want to buy, how you plan to pay (pre-approved, working on it, cash, or not sure), the type of home, what matters most to you (optional), your name and mobile number, and your email (optional).

If you use the home services finder, the site sends what you typed (for example "plumber") and the location you entered to look up nearby businesses. If you ask Sean for help with a home service, the request includes your name, phone, and the note you wrote.

How it is used

Sean uses your information to contact you about your request: to call or text you about your home, its value, the home you want to buy, or the help you asked for. Sending a request does not commit you to anything, and nothing is signed on this site.

Who sees it

  • Sean Poolman. Requests are saved on the service that hosts this site (Netlify) and sent to Sean as an email alert.
  • Service providers. Netlify hosts the site and stores requests on Sean's behalf. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to download them.
  • Your own browser. If a request cannot reach the server (for example, you are offline), a backup copy is kept in your browser and an email draft to Sean may open so you can send it yourself.

Your information is not sold, rented, or shared with other companies for their marketing.

Analytics: counting visits, not people

To learn which pages are useful, this site may use Umami, a cookie-less analytics tool. It counts page visits and a few button clicks (for example, "started the home value form", "sent a request", and which article the visitor came from). It does not use cookies, and it is not sent your name, phone, email, address, or anything you type into the form. The site does not use advertising trackers or ad pixels. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal, the analytics tool is set to skip counting your visit.

Sean may also use Google Search Console, which reports how this site's pages appear in Google search results. It does not add any script to these pages.

California law gives residents rights over their personal information, which can include the right to know what was collected, to ask for it to be deleted or corrected, and to opt out of its sale. This site does not sell personal information. To make a request, use the phone number or email above.
